Survey & Defect Analysis in Tunbridge Wells

Mason Carey were onsite this week at a Tunbridge Wells retail store tosurvey an area of severe damp penetration. The building, located on the popularMount Pleasant, was found to have severe water ingress occurring causing afailure of floor joists, wall coverings and surrounding fixtures and fittings.

During our inspection we found a number of contributory factors which werecausing the water ingress including failed damp proof membranes, brokendrainage and cracked external wall coverings.

Our report to the client detailed the issues found, reasons for the failuresand the remedy which would put the retail space back into good repair.

Mason Carey will be available to the clients to discuss the issues found andthe proposed remedies whilst being able to project manage the repair worksshould it be required.
