Mason Carey undertake residential building surveys as approved by the RICS. We understand that buying a new home can be a stressful time.
We work with our clients on each individual purchase to provide expert advice and guidance. We discuss with our clients what their aims are from a survey and how the information we can provide is relayed in the most effective way.
We will spend as much time as necessary with clients to ensure they are informed and comfortable with the immediate purchase and potential maintenance of the property they are purchasing.
We are fiercely proud of our reputation in providing an excellent and useful service to each client buying a new home.
Mason Carey undertake three levels of survey:
Survey level one: RICS Home Condition Report (HCR)
The RICS Condition Report describes the condition of the property, identifies any risks and potential legal issues and highlights any urgent defects. Typically, the lowest priced of the surveys, it is aimed at conventional properties and newer homes.
Survey level two: RICS HomeBuyer Report (HBR)
This is most suitable for conventional properties which are in reasonable condition. The report gives you more detailed information. Includes all the features of the RICS Condition Report. It also includes advice on defects that may affect the property with repairs, and ongoing maintenance advice
Survey level three: RICS Building Survey
Essential for larger or older properties, or if you’re planning major works. The most comprehensive report provides you with an in-depth analysis of the property's condition and includes advice on defects, repairs and maintenance options.
