Mason Carey undertake measured survey in Folkestone

Mason Carey completed a full measured survey of a property in Folkestone in January. The period property was formed over six floors and had a number of stunning period features which were found in an excellent condition given age.

The property was found to be in a state of disrepair to the higher floors which gave us the ability to investigate the structure and construction methods of the age at close hand. We are always delighted to have the opportunity to review period construction methods and how they have reacted to age without having to intrusively remove floor, wall and ceiling coverings.

The measured survey was undertaken over a three day period using the latest laser measuring equipment. This will allow Mason Carey to provide the client with a detailed CAD drawing of the property including floor plans and elevations.
