Mason Carey obtain planning consent in Chelmsford

Mason Carey obtained planning consent this week for the residential conversion of the upper parts of a High Street building is the popular and busy High Street of Chelmsford.

The works required the team at Mason Carey to develop the scheme with detailed planning drawings outlining a number of essential requirements set out by the local authority and via the national policy framework.

The planning consent was granted after discussions were held with the local authority to discuss a number of important site details relating to site use, including cycle stores and bin stores.

The residential scheme was developed to achieve best use of the available space above a retail store at ground floor level and to benefit our client and the local community in providing much needed, well located, residential units.

Mason Carey look forward to working with the client of the project management of the construction phase of the works.
