Mason Carey gain planning consent for mixed use scheme in Tunbridge Wells

Mason Carey gained planning consent for the conversion of a redundant nightclub in Tunbridge Wells this month. The scheme, designed by Bright Space Architects, achieves a thoughtful and useful conversion of the existing building to create 9 residential dwellings a coffee shop and a gym to the basement floor.

Mason Carey were able to aid the client is acquisition of the site and also provide advice on design prior to submitting proposals to the local authority. Planning consent was granted within the determination period and was well supported by the local community and local authority.

This granted consent is another successful planning application made by Mason Carey during 2021.

The next stage of the programme is to project manage the construction works which shall also be carried out by Mason Carey over the coming 12 months and we look forward to continuing our positive relationship with the client.
