Mason Carey busy undertaking dilapidation works in London, Bristol and South East

Mason Carey have been busy at the start of 2021 carrying out inspections, reviewing leases, scheduling works and negotiating with landlords and tenants surveyors in matter relating to dilapidations.

We are proud to say that so far we have successfully agreed terms on all claims made or reviewed. We would associate this success to good communication between all parties and a reasonable approach by both sides.

Matters relating to dilapidations often become fraught and turn ugly when one party decides to approach matters in an aggressive and uncooperative manner which tends to create nothing more than distrust and expensive fees for landlords and tenants.

Our approach is to be clear with all parties from the start of the process working with other surveyors and / or tenants and landlord to create a reasonable and successful outcome result.
