Mason Carey achieve Planning Permission for Residential scheme in Folkestone

Mason Carey achieved a positive response from Folkestone Borough Council this week with planning permission being granted for a residential development of 8 dwellings.

The proposed scheme made use of redundant first, second and third floor levels of a retail building positioned in a prominent location on Sandgate Road.

A full planning package was prepared and issued to the local authority on behalf of a longstanding client by Mason Carey. The application was reviewed and discussed with the local authority and alterations were undertaken to the proposal during the deterioration period to ensure that designs and the overall development achieved success.

The development is formed within a stunning period property located in a popular town center location and will provide much needed affordable accommodation to the local area.
