Maidstone - project management of roof replacement to substantial office building comes to completion.

The works to replace the entire roof covering at Gail House in Maidstone have come to completion with the project being managed by the Mason Carey team.

The entire flat roof surface was stripped of the covering which had become failed and had been insitu for approximately the previous 30-40 years. The surface was found to be significantly deteriorated and insulation associated was considered to be outdated and inefficient.

The roof surface was replaced with a modern alternative and new efficient insulation installed over the original metal deck structure. Rainwater downpipes and gullies were overhauled and made good providing the building and tenants with a secure roof covering.

Mason Carey managed the tender process, contract administration and management of the works on behalf of the client.
