Acquisition Appraisal for 31 Dwelling Scheme in Tunbridge Wells

Mason Carey undertook an appraisal for long-standing client this week on the potential acquisition of a former care home development. The site is found close to the centre of Tunbridge Wells and provides scope for a potential residential development to form 31 new dwellings.

Mason Carey undertook a full survey inspection of the property to review the existing structure and presentation of the property whilst reviewing the potential alterations being required of a conversion. We were able to guide the client in respect of the costs associated to the proposal and aid the works of the architect in the scheme development of the apartments associated to essential structural details.

The appraisal was a full report which included survey data of the existing building, construction cost guidance on the proposed development, design advice associated to building regulation guidance and an entire project programme review from purchase to key hand-over.
